Using Hard Water?
Most hard water has a pH of 6.5-8.5 and is loaded with calcium and magnesium.
Most tank mixed pesticides and crop inputs are the most effective at a pH of 4-6.
Just 1-2 pints of Nuvano™ Pure per 100 gallons will drop the pH of your tank by 2-4 points making your water optimal for spraying.
MODIFIES pH. Hard water sits at a pH of 6.5-8.5, while your crop inputs work most effectively at a pH of 4-6. One pint of Nuvano™ Pure per 100 gallons of hard water drops the pH by two points.
CONDITIONS WATER. After the pH drops, there are bicarbonates in the water, which can tie up your crop inputs. Nuvano™ Pure's Chelix technology holds these bicarbonates so they can't react with your added chemistry.
ACTS AS A SURFACTANT. Meld technology in Nuvano™ Pure sticks to the leaf and mimics the cuticular tissue,
allowing crop inputs to enter directly into the plant via transcellular activity.

How does Nuvano Pure act as a water conditioner?
Nuvano Pure utilizes a two step process to condition the water in your tank. Through our proprietary acidification technology we release carbonates and bicarbonates as carboxylic acid and water. Free calcium that is produced through the reaction is then chelated through our proprietary sub-micron chelation technology so that it is unable to react or bind with materials added to the tank.
What is the mechanism of releasing carbonates & bicarbonates in hard water applications?
Nuvano Pure uses an acid-base neutralization that converts carbonates and bicarbonate into carbon dioxide and water.
How does Nuvano Pure do more than my current water conditioner?
Nuvano Pure utilizes sub-micron chelation and lipophilic carrier technologies to help load and transport fertilizers, pesticides and biologicals through the cell membrane and into the plant vascular system.
How do I decide what rate of Nuvano Pure to use in my tank?
Nuvano Pure is designed to be used at 1-2 pints per 100 gallons of water in your tank. The use rate depends on the hardness of your water, level of carbonates and bicarbonates and the starting pH. If you have high carbonates and bicarbonates and/or a higher starting pH, we recommend using the 2 pints/100 gallons. If your water is relatively clean it is appropriate to use the 1 pint or the full 2 pints per 100 to primarily utilize the pH modification and sub-micron carrier technologies in the product to help improve delivery of your tank mixed products.
What products is Nuvano Pure compatible with?
Nuvano Pure is compatible with most liquid fertilizers, pesticides and biological stimulants. As with most water conditioners, it's important to jar test compatibility prior to adding Nuvano Pure to the spray tank.
What is the mixing order when using Nuvano Pure?
Nuvano Pure should be the second product that goes in the tank following water. It will help break down hard water and release carbonates and bicarbonates along with modifying the pH of the water before adding nutrients, biologicals, pesticides and herbicides.
